Locator is an https webservice that returns hosts ip addresses for a given server tag and user.

Locator client APIs will use /etc/bm/bm.ini to figure out where locator is installed.

Where is locator

When a LocatorClient is created, two properties from bm.ini will be considered.

Once the ip is figured out, the final url will be https://[ip]:8084/

Example queries

A GET http query to https://[ip]:8084/location/host/bm/core/admin@willow.vmw will return a text/plain document with the ip address of an host with the bm/core tag usable for the admin user in the willow.vmw domain.
